About me

“The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge.” – Bertrand Russell

Angelo

DSC_0294There’s nothing much to tell you about me, except for I’m a 19 year old guy, from Kortrijk. In the West of Belgium that is. Thus making me a guy, that lives in West-Flanders

Since my family is very complex, I’ll explain for a moment: I’m living with my lovely cats (I have about 4 of them), my charming grandmother, my smaller brother (on most of my pictures ;-) ) and my cheering mum, since my parents divorced. But don’t worry, I can still control the zoo. :-)

Since 2006, I’ve been studying Informatics, in the Sint Amandscollege in my hometown.  This is where I’ve learned my first lessons of HTML (in the 5th grade), and I pretty much got the hang of it. The learningbug bit me, too, so I also learned CSS and a bit of PHP that year. Bizzy me, I know, but if you want to learn, you won’t make it by just sitting there. In June 2008, I graduated my 6th grade. So yay me! :-)

Ofcourse, I wanted to take my knowledge a (few) level(s) higher, so I decided to step into Devine – or Digital Design & Media – at Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen, in Kortrijk. And I did take it a level higher, and more than one! But that’s not the main reason why I chose to do this three year study option, I still like Design too!

But that’s enough about my schoollife. Besides that, I have a lovely girlfriend for the last year, named Sanne (also on a lot of pictures),  so of my spare-time pretty much goes to her… Next to that, I also like building websites, snapping shots (photography that is) and going out.

Next to the offline stuff, you can find me on a lot of places online. Here are some links, if you wish to get connected with me: ;-)

Blacksnipe

Blacksnipe.be has now been around for about a year, but the idea of a site to call my own has been around for while longer. The current layout is V2.0, so as you can assume, there was a version before – if you like more info about it, you can read this blogpost [link to come]. But now, it’s time for a change, so I tried another approach… More about this, you can read here [link to come].

If you have any questions, just ask them, I (maybe) won’t bite… ;-)
